Roronoa Zoro Top 5 Quotes

Zoro is widely popular among fans and sometimes his popularity even surpasses that of the main character. Zoro is one of the favorite and best character in One Piece. One of the greatest swordsman in the world of One Piece. Even though he has a horrible sense of direction ':D', he do have greater wisdom of words. Here are his some popular quotes.

5. "Aren't titles Useless when it comes to Fighting? The Stronger ones win, That's it."

Rank doesn't matter to Zoro, especially in a fight. During the incident at Whiskey Peak, the First Mate of the Straw Hats faces off against Baroque members. In Baroque Works the lower a number, the higher the skill land status level one has, within the company. However, Zoro isn't impressed with titles. His concern is to be  the strongest swordsman and protect his crew.

4. "You need to accept the fact that you're not the best and have all the will to strive to be better than anyone you face."

Zoro makes this statement when meeting Luffy. Due to some unconventional circumstances, Zoro becomes a prisoner on a Marine Base. The swordsman is initially a Pirate hunter. The only reason why he switched careers is that his future captain gives him a hope. Zoro is all about surviving, he will gladly take on any profession if it doesn’t interfere with his goals.

3. "There is someone I must meet again. Until that day, not even Death can take my life away."

After his duel with the Warlord Mihawk, Zoro sustains some serious injuries, which he has not recovered from. In spite of that, he still faces off against one of Arlong's cronies, Hachi, in the Arlong Park arc.

Everyone thinks he’s on the bed of death, but somehow, Zoro gets up. He then makes everyone know that he refuses to die, until he is able to fight Mihawk again. Death can't even kill him and his resolve.

2. "Scars on the back are a Swordsman's Shame"

The First team member of the Straw Hats Luffy takes his goal as being a swordsman very seriously. After a brutal defeat from Mihawk, Zoro turns around to face him, proudly. Zoro wants to look the person that defeated him in the eye, to clearify that he is not a coward. Once, Zoro said those words the Warlord gains a tremendous amount of respect for the young swordsman and decides to spare his life. He sees the man has conviction with him.

1. "If I can't even protect my Captain's deam, then whatever ambition I have is nothing but talk!!"

After the Straw Hat Luffy find out Usopp wants to join the crew again, Zoro stresses to everyone, especially to Luffy, that he needs to apologize. Usopp needs to know there are consequences to his actions. Also, he proclaims that he will leave the Straw Hats crew, if Usopp comes back, without apologizing. If everyone just welcomes Usopp back with open arms, there is a chance he might do it again, 'since he had no respect for his captain'. As the First Luffy's Mate, Zoro is right to let his captain and the other crew members be aware of this. This is not a game to him.

Following the fight with Warlord, Gecko Moria and Kuma, at that time the phrase was apprehended to Luffy.  With Luffy being knocked out from his fight with Moria, the Straw Hats rush to his defense. Unfortunately, Zoro is the only one left standing. After realizing Zoro will do anything to protect his captain, He says the line that How can he protect his ambition when he can't even protect his Captain !!
