 Some Information available about Itachi Uchiha

Uchiha Itachi was a Shinobi of Uchiha's clan who served as Anbu Captain too. He soon became an international criminal at an early age after murdering his entire Uchiha clan, except his younger brother, Sasuke Uchiha.

Itachi then soon joined Akatsuki (International Criminal Organization. At any early age of four, the Third Shinobi World War started and Itachi witnessed many war casualties. Which made him to train very hard and achieve a dream of becoming a strong Shinobi to erase fighting and war from the world.

 From a young age, Itachi was calm and insightful, showing immense maturity for his age and knowledge on how to deal with any situation. Itachi was a very humble person and never was arrogant about his abilities. He lived at a distance, observing individuals and ideas without getting directly involved so that he could fully understand them.

 

Itachi love toward Sasuke 

 It was for Sasuke's safety that ultimately convinced Itachi to go through with killing the rest of the Uchiha clan. Itachi wanted to be punished for his crimes and selected Sasuke as the one to take vengeance against him. To push Sasuke in this direction, Itachi withheld the true reason for his actions and took on  all the blames just so he could protect and  love his younger brother.

 

Sasuke Potential 

Sasuke is an exceptionally powerful ninja who has all balanced aspect in every way. His weapon choice is sword. Sasuke do have a tremendous skill with a sword and by the time he has grown to adult, he has well refined it to a point where he killed Orochimaru with his own hands.  Also, Itachi skills in sword doesn't hold the same level as of Sasuke.

Uchiha Sasuke didn't understand what it meant to be a shinobi until he met the Fourth Hokage during the Great Ninja War. Back then Itachi was still a kid. But even after hearing the answers, Sasuke chose the path to start a violent revolution and became villain to the world.

Whereas Itachi lived his entire life for the sake of the village and nobody knows the self-sacifice value better than Uchiha Itachi.
